Why would you want to do so? To steal the code?

One of AutoCAD's greatest attributes has been it's open Architecture. A
user who wants to open a file may only want to modify the code slightly
for his own needs. He/she may also be trying to learn (so that they can
make there own code better). I look at other lisp routines all the
time.
Encryption of AutoCAD support files was a bad idea. The users should
have the ability to look at and modify code! We take advantage of open
Architecture everytime we work with a third party package.

exactly, richard.
and i have found that one who's first thought is
that someone is out to steal, is the first person to
steal themself.

thats exactily what I need to do, modify the code to make it work they
way I need to work. So how do I decompile the ARX app so I can modify
it?
My best advice is to send a notice to the copyright owner of the code,
and ask him to develop a new version of the product.
Hope this helps,

Why not contact the author? You might find what you want to do may be
there with a whole lot more.
Better still, if you know exactly what you want to do, why not write
the better/improved routie yourself.
