I am getting smiley icons on my customized toolbar but only for buttons
borrowed from the bonus toolbars shipped with 14...

Some people had some great insights on getting rid of the smiley icons a few
months back...

Would someone please repost their answers?

Thank you!

When creating a custom toolbar containing bonus icons, make sure that
it is placed in the bonus group. When you create a new toolbar there
is a checkbox below which allows you to select which group it is added
to. I believe that you will get the same `smiley icon' if you add a
button from the acad group to your bonus group toolbar. The solution
is to create more than one custom toolbar for each menu group - hope
this makes sense to you.!

In addition,
This is what I posted several weeks ago. I'm not sure if it will help you, but
give it a try.

I have noticed many postings in regards to smiley face bmps after
creating custom toolbars/buttons. Here's are a couple of things I
discovered:

If you go to the menu text file and add '.bmp' after the bitmap file
name, it seems to cure it. Per the instructions, this is not necessary,
but I tried it during one of my many puzzled debugging sessions and it
worked!

Also, since I dislike the manner by which Acad recompiles and renames
the icon bitmap created using its mini paint program, I created all my
icons in Photoshop and saved them in a remote directory. Then, I
customized and picked those bitmaps. The original names were maintained.

Please post a general FYI message if this works for you.

Bogus,
The Smile face is the default image for all buttons.
You need to recofigure the images for those buttons...
