scale (ACAD command)
all (select every entity in the drawing)
<enter> (to signify that you wish to select nothing more)
0,0 (origin for scaling)
r (for reference)
25.4 (the conversion factor between inches and millimeters)
1 (this means you want a line that was 25.4 drawing units to be 1 drawing
unit)
Now set the dimension variables to architectural
dimunit (the ACAD command)
6 (for architectural, or see the help for other allowable values).
dim (the ACAD dimension command)
update (the dim subcommand)
all (select every entity in the drawing)
<enter> (to signify that you wish to select nothing more)
Now you need to go around the drawing and place each
dim where it doesn't overwrite another or any other object.
Note: Since I am an old timer, I prefer to use the command line
for issuing (and describing) such operations. Some other users
will probably describe the dialog box methods. Bah, humbug.
Hope this helps.
