in NT 4.0

I do not think so. I am not aware of any multithreaded desktop
(non-server) applications.

No it doesn't, Rob. But multiple processors teamed with adequate memory
allow you to run multiple sessions without suffering significant
degradation in system performance. Most importantly, if you want to plot
and draw at the same time (on two different drawings) you'll find it's more
feasable. Plus if you're running any other applications that are
multi-threaded you'll realize considerable benefits. As a fer instance, I
run two or three Acad sessions, Page maker and have my WinFAX running in
the background receiving voice mail and FAXes automatically. All on a
single dual processor machine.
