I can't put my old 1991 Sony Trinitron TV in autoprogram mode because I lost
the remote. So, there are cable stations that I'm not getting. The cable
line is plugged right into the TV. Anybody know if there is a way to
program the TV to get all the stations without having the remote? Or, is
there a remote I could buy that would give me the TV menu so I could set up
the TV for autoprogram? Sony wants $75.00 for a new remote. The model
number is KU-27TS20. It's a 1991 27 inch Trinitron. Thanks to anybody that
can help. Diana

I have a 1990 27" Sony Trinitron and have yet to find a universal
pre-programmed remote that has all the necessary menu functions;
not even the Sony universals work all my menu options. Mine has to
have the original in order to work the menus (luckily i still have
it).
The TV's documentation should also have the model # of the remote
itself, then you can search for it online or on EBay or sumthin. A
quick look at the links below shows a similar TV model number (with
a V where you have a U) and lists the remote as being an RM-757.
Here's a pic, is this the same as your old one?
