Please can someone explain to me how these two completely different URLs
take me, apparently, to the same web page?

1. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx

2. http://lb1.www.ms.akadns.net/en-us/default.aspx

Any help appreciated!

If appropriate, please point me in the right direction to learn more
about this phenomenon. Thanks.

It's ROT-113 I think ...

translates to:
