Dear sirs,
I am contacting you with reference to a property I am currently marketing on
a leasehold basis and I hoped might be of interest to you.
The property is an 8000sq.ft.unit at Culmhead Business Park near Taunton and
is suitable for a number of uses including ARCHIVE STORAGE : OFFICE :
DISASTER RECOVERY UNIT : LIGHT INDUSTRIAL/ASSEMBLY : DISTRIBUTION : CALL
CENTRE : I.T COMPLEX :TRAINING etc,etc,etc.Formerly,about two years ago
Culmhead was owned by the M.O.D. And was commonly known as "The Listening
Station". Most of the buildings ( including the one described ) were
apparently equipped with computers and radio equipment for monitoring
transmissions from all over the world.The suspended floors are insulated for
minimal static electricity and many of the mains supplies in the building
are screened for use with computer equipment.As might be imagined,a facility
like this was maintained by the M.O.D to a very high standard and only the
best fittings and fixtures appear to have been used throughout
The unit is of a high specification and has fully carpeted suspended floors
(which could be removed),suspended ceilings ( which could also be removed )
and currently the building is divided into office units with semi-permanent
( removable!) partitioning.There is partial air conditioning,air
recirculation units and full central heating.Fire alarm/emergency lighting
are also fitted.
There is a substantial parking area within the high security eight acre
site.
I am asking £3.50 per sq.ft fixed on a five year lease and I am open to
