Bulk E-mail Doomed ? !!

I read something today about Bulk E-mailing that may be of interest to you all. They're
now saying that Bulk E-mail may be on it's way out. There are simply too many ametuers using Bulk E-mail that is spoiling it for all those legitimate companies taking advantage of this new medium. It's not so much that people are tired of unsolicited e-mail when it's done right, it's that these do-it-your-selfers are doing it so poorly that it is getting to be quite annoying to folks that have to read such poorly designed sales letters and people trying to sell you anything from hair tonic to get-rich-quick schemes that are obvious ploys to get money in their mail box. Now I admit we're selling software to some of these people however we do also include guidelines for doing Bulk E-mailing correctly with netiquette. It is a great new way to generate a lot sales fast, but I worry it's days are numbered due to irresponsible "newbie's" looking for a quick buck.
