Secure Transactions on the Internet
A new service from IBM called infoMarket to provides a secure way to buy
and sell information on the Internet. InfoMarket service lets you use an
easy interface to search for documents, news, and references on the
Internet by simultaneously searching multiple heterogeneous databases
receiving relevancy ranked result. It will provide the ability to buy
and sell information using Cryptolope technology, a secure cryptographic
envelope used to transfer intellectual property ensuring payment to the
content owner. The Cryptolope container can contain text, audio, video
graphics, etc.
