PIC'S HOME/SELF-EMPLOYMENT GUIDE
Looking for a new promotional item? PIC's Home/Self-Employment Guide may
be just what you need. I'm Steve Pickering and I wrote this guide. The
book is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and 70 pages short (small print, no fat). It sell
individually for $9.95 (The retail price is printed on the cover.) but it
has proven to be more popular as a promotional giveaway due to low, bulk
purchase, prices. The guide is informative, helpful and useful with
strong emphasis on employment search, cautions, computers and
encouragement. It is a start-up guide, not an operating manual although
much of the information provided will assist in that process.

FRANCHISING, JOB SEARCH CAUTIONS, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, LEGAL CONCERNS,
MARKETING, SALES, COMPUTERS AND THE INTERNET, HOME OFFICE SET-UP,
EDUCATION AND TRAINING and SOURCES. Also included are the following
sub-headings: You Are Self-Employment Material, Advantages and
Disadvantages, Investigate That Company, A Business Plan, Bank Loans and
Other Financing, Insurance, Record and Bookkeeping, Patents, Copyrights
and Trademarks, Contracts, Purchasing, Pricing, Advertising, Collecting
and Using Data, Catalog Sales Tips, Direct Mail Tips and Phone Sales.
Also included is a complete FEDERAL TAX TABLE AND CALENDAR and four
worksheets: BUSINESS START-UP EXPENSES, MONTHLY BUSINESS EXPENSES,
MONTHLY PERSONAL EXPENSES and HOME OFFICE SET-UP CHECKLIST.
The back cover contains a 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" "COMPLIMENTS OF:" box which can
include your company name, address, phone number, URL, email address etc.,
as you choose. This is printed in at no additional cost.

orders are shipped in 10 to 14 days. Orders of 5000 and more take three
to four weeks. Full payment is required with all orders of 1000 or less
copies. 50% payment must accompany all other orders with the balance due
on delivery (COD).
