Logistics Management System
The Logistics Management System provides a number of services which meet
the 21st Century logistical needs of multinational companies. These
services include online shipping schedules, cargo booking, air and ocean
cargo tracking, and the only Internet connection with U.S. Customs
available today. File SEDs on-line directly with U.S. Customs via our
Automated Export Service (AES) or connect to Automated Manifest Service
(AMS) to file your manifests. Learn the current U.S. Customs status of
your inbound cargo using our Customs Release Service. LMS cuts your cargo
inquiries and documentation filing from hours to minutes.
Air Cargo Tracking
The Trade Compass Air Cargo Tracking Service provides real-time cargo
status for five leading airlines: American, Quantas, Emirates, Canadian,
and British Airways. If you ship cargo by these airlines, we hope that
you will use our FREE tracking service. In the near future, we will be
adding a pay for use service providing tracking services for over 60
international airlines.
Automated Export System
One of the most exciting services available on Trade Compass is the
Automated Export System (AES). AES is a U.S. government initiative which
enables U.S. exporters and forwarders to file required U.S. documentation
electronically. Trade Compass is the only company offering an Internet
solution for this U.S. government program.

Want to know who imported steel into the United States last month? Want to
know who your competitors are buying from or selling to? Looking for a
U.S. buyer for your products or a non-U.S. supplier? Our newest product,
TradeSmart can tell you. TradeSmart processes almost 20,000 U.S. bills of
lading a day, sent to our service center directly from U.S. Customs. These
documents meet the legal documentary standards of the U.S. government and
include information such as U.S. importer, the exporter, Port/Country of
Load, Port of Arrival, quantity and commodity description. TradeSmart is
the ultimate market intelligence tool. Tradesmart contains data from June
1, 1996.
Research Assistant
The Research Assistant is a powerful market research tool currently
containing seven different libraries of information and will be expanded
to include 11. The U.S. Laws Library provides online, full text searching
of the major U.S. government publications including the U.S. Code, Federal
Register, and Congressional Record. These databases are updated daily.
Market Reports contains 10,000 country marketing reports and is searchable
by country and commodity. If you don't have the time to do the research
yourself, our research staff can do it for you. We produce Custom Reports
to meet any of your information needs. The Research Assistant also
provides full access to STAT-USA one of the largest Internet sources of
information and statistical data.
Daily Brief
Trade Compass publishes the Daily Brief, a daily summary of the news and
regulatory issues which impact your business. The Trade Compass Daily
Brief is delivered directly to your electronic mail and is archived on the
World Wide Web. The Daily Brief includes articles and summaries of
Reuters(tm) News, feature articles, and a summary of regulatory notices
