Welding Transformer Controller helps in saving over 40% of electric
consumption of a standard electric welding transformer.
Normally weld sets are kepts continuously ON, although welding operations
are not carried out. During these periods the welding transformer draws the
magnetizing current or no load current with no output. Welding Transformer
Controller detects these non-weld periods and switches off the power to the
welding transformer after interval and hence saves power during these
periods.

When welding operation is to be restarted, the operator just need to touch
the electrode to the material to be welded and the unit instantly starts the
weld which then can be carried on continuously. Welding Transformer
Controller is merely a control unit and depending on the capacity of the
weld set suitable contactor has to be used.
