Burning Man 2011 newbie

Hey

Im planning on making the trip from the UK to burning man this year, the
journey I have sorted, the tickets aren't on sale yet (but that's sorted
as well). As I'll be a new to the playa and all it's surrounds I would
like to know any if not all tips or hint that an experienced burner
would have...

Don't go. You've gotta be a frickin' idiot to camp in the middle of the
frickin' desert for a week. The equivalent in the U.K is to spend a week in
February camping in Rannoch Moor with nothing but a tent a pair of jeans and
a sweatshirt. You can do it, lots of people do, but its dumb. There are lots
of dumb people in the world though. Many of them are 'burners'.
