queer drum circle new Feb date

The San Francisco Bay Area Gay Spirit/Flesh and Spirit shamanic-style
queer men's drum circle is experimenting with moving our monthly drum
circles to a different date because of changes in our core group of
drummers. For February and into Spring, we plan to drum on the second
Sunday of the month. If this works out, we may change permanently.
Some of us discussed options and found moving to the second Sunday of
the month the most feasible. Other weekends, changing the day of the
week or time of day didn't look as good.
We would appreciate any comments those of you who have attended may have
about the change. Be sure to let us know if this presents a problem for
you.
I'll host again this month. We would really welcome others taking on
hosting at their homes or organizing outdoor drum sites as the weather
improves and the days grow longer. I know my neighbors would be pleased.
February drum circle:
Sunday, February 14 (Valentine's Day)
Potluck; :5:00-6:00; drum 6:00-8:00
Place: 4305 17th St., San Francisco at the corner of Ord St.

(4 blocks uphill from Castro Muni Subway Station, near 33 and 37 bus
lines)

If you've never been to one of our circles: It's free; we have some
extra drums, rattles, tambourines etc but bring your own if you have
them; percussion experience not necessary (if you can dance or keep a
beat you can drum).
