NPS/FTC Studys on Siding&Windows

I'm looking for pointers to info from the National Park Service, The
National Trust, the FTC or anyone else regarding misconceptions about
vinyl/aluminum siding and replacement windows. Also info comparing
these to more traditional and preservation concious alternatives.
I've seen stuff about this topic on the net recently but can't
remember where.

Hi John.

I don't have the references you are looking for but would be interested in
what you find. I'm currently putting together a new title in my Practical
Restoration Report series on wood window restoration and conservation.
