I am working on a restoration project for which acrylic paints have been
proposed as inpainting materials
for original casein decorative finishes. Aside from color, texture, sheen
and permeability issues, are there
any potential compatibility problems between the two? That is, will new
acrylics color matched to the
historic caseins fade/darken/differ visually over time?
