Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you all that we are going to assemble an
International Symposium “BRAGA: Tourist Development through
Revitalisation” at Hyatt Regency Bandung, November 1-2, 1997. On this
venue we will launch our study-book “BRAGA: Revitalisation in an Urban
Development.” This study located on Braga, an area in the old Central
Business District of Bandung City, which have became such a hot issue in

the past few years.
The book and the symposium offer chances and challenges to a sustainable
and local cultural-based development in the form of Retail and
Retail-entertainment, Office, Hotels, and Housing with its facility and
infrastructure. We hope that the concept will bring positive reaction
for public and private institution, cultural and tourism from different
actors through City Revitalisation Program. Further information on who
