US Century, a Texas based company, has recently introduced color
coated rubber nuggets which are ideally suited for playground fill and
landscape mulch. The product is called Grubble(TM) and it meets the
ASTM F 1292 fall height test at a height of 12 feet for 8 inches of
Grubble fill as well as exceeds CPSC guidelines. Grubble chips range
in diameter from 3/4 to 1-inch, are non-abrasive, low maintenance,
non-toxic, non-staining, will dry much quicker than other playground
surfacing or landscape mulch and will last a very long time. Grubble
is available in black, grey, green, orange and blue.
