Please.... do try to cancel your post. This is a very baaaaad spoiler!!!
Most readers in this group do not know this yet and will not want to
know! Look in your menubar for 'cancel article' and do it quickly.

You can post a new one with lots of spoiler space.

why on earth did you do that for?

if you write something like that, you have to use spoiler tags & space.

many people here don't want to know what's going to happen, so don't just
write stuff like that.

think before you do, please !

Click on FAQ, read it, follow the rules. And if you reply to THIS post,
reply UNDER the quoted text and UNDER the spoilerspace, which must be
left in place.

Other than that, CANCEL the original post. Something like right clicking
on the message and selectin 'cancel' probably. That's how netscape does
it. Otherwise search the help file.

Fuck this, I appoligize for the F word but it had to be said.
This is one post I would have liked to missed. What is wrong with you Kelle
most of us haven't seen S5 yet and your just telling this without a spoiler
message. And there is still no spoiler warning on this post damn I don't
like this I do anything to keep a way from spoilers I don't visit english
newsgroups and then this happens.

Hope it doesn't happen again :-(

I agree, but ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't you see all our other replies, like 'do not read, major
spoilers'? And anyway, please, please PLEASE snip the bloody spoiler
next time you do this. This sort of defeates the purpose..

I feel for you. This happened to me (exact same thing) on a french
newsgroup I now do not frequent any longer..

It's fortunately very rare here. If you see anything not posted by a
regular (haven't seen any of us spoil without spoilerspace) and to which
someone's replied with massive words like 'SPOILER' where there weren't
any, don't read the original message. Really.

Like you mention this site is pretty safe because most of us are dutch and
haven't seen S5 yet but I will be carefull the next time you can count on
that.

That's a very good tip Mattia I can better wait for another day before I
read a message from a new person and then I'm sure there will be a spoiler
warning from one of you guys just like you did now :-)

And now you're doing it AGAIN - are you just plain rude or what?
It is common courtesy that you don't spoil it for others and that is NOT
overreacting, for some of us like to not know what happens and guess what:
we like the drama of not knowing and have the show surprise us instead of
some ignorant girl who should read the FAQ!

My god Christine!! So you knew in advance and therefore it's okay to
make everyone else suffer and go ahead and spoil it for them too?? How
inconsiderate can you get....

Can you PLEASE try to understand that there are people who like to watch
the episodes WITHOUT know what's going to happen?

Keep your mouth shut from now on in this newsgroup about the episodes
you watch on Sky or use spoilerspace.

Otherwise, if you can't do that, go and post in uk.media.tv.buffy-v-
slayer.

Dear kelle,

Please realise that this and the previous reactions to your initial post
are in no way meant to disparage you personally, but the fact that you
reply as you did would seem to indicate that any such criticism would
not be misplaced.

I hope you understand that many, maybe even most, people who post to or
lurk on this group live in countries in which no Season 5 episodes have
been screened yet. How would you like to have been spoiled for the
episode in question before having sat down to watch it? Even if you
don't think that being spoiled like this is a "big deal", there are
plenty of others who do.

All I ask is that you are aware of the guidelines that have been laid
down in the FAQ, follow the established etiquette and think before you
post. Then any contributions you would like to make would be most
welcome.

... where Sky episodes and anything not yet aired on the BBC
require just as much spoiler space as they do here.

Indeed.
Sorry Christine, but this is the second time I've almost been spoiled by
you. A third time I might not be so lucky, so you've earned a place in my
killfile.
Bye now,

First of all I suppose you have to read those newsgroups to know that and
second, I think it's objective courtesy to at least start out with the idea
that people have some intellect and learn when they have been *wrong*. But
now with this warning from you, the only thing to do about it is placing her
in a killfile. It would feel good to call her names, but that wouldn't be
nice.

Maybe I am but then I'd rather be naive than cynical ;-). And I like to
believe that Christine doesn't mean to be rude or deliberately sets out
to aggravate people. With some posters you just know when they enjoy
being a pest. With her... I don't believe so.

<SNIP spoilers>

Damn it! USE SPOILERSPACE OR SNIP THE SPOILERS!

http://bite.to/abe should explain all you need to know about posting
rules, and looking up nettiquette should do the rest. If you reply to a
post with spoilers, DELETE SAID SPOILERS, please. You didn't do the
spoiling but...reply BELOW quoted text. Otherwise the spoilerspace
(which you are of course using) is absoutely and utterly useless.

Anyway, on to the question: killfiling someone means you filter out
their messages (all of them), never see them again. You 'kill' them as
they come in.
