So I got a pretty crappy VCD (should've waited for the Xvid) and the end of Act
2 gets cut off pretty harshly.
Angel's just given his 'ants' speech and told them not to sweat the small stuff
and someone asks whether Fred was small stuff. Angel says "I loved..." and it
cuts off.
So my question is - how did that sentence end? Did he just say "I loved Fred" or
"I loved her"? OR did he say "I loved Fred but ..." because from the next scene
they seem pretty shocked at Angel's attitude but not as shocked as they'd be if
he really had implied Fred's death was small.
Thanks

Wes: "The small stuff that you can't worry about -- would that include
Fred?"
Angel: "I loved Fred."
Wes: "That's not an answer."
Angel: "Then I guess you don't get one."
[Slams door in Wesley's face]
