On the plus side, what I read (and Herc is normally fairly reliable, even
this far in advance; he had S6 up to 'Tabula Rasa' broadly speaking at
this time last year) makes me optimistic. There're some gaps, but some
definite potential there. So I can now hold off the other spoilers with
renewed faith. :)

So, what has 2.3 million per episode bought _Buffy_ that it didn't already
have? "A great big huge trailer", says Marsters. "Better craft service",
says Gellar. "More whores," says Nicholas Brendon, who plays Xander.
"Many, many, many more whores".

Yes, as you say, potentially some very interesting things. Any bets as
yet for the last season regular who's going to be killed off.
And those are the last spoilers for me.

Actual S4 spoilers below, people. Speculation based on those spoilers.
Herc has a notoriously flexible definition of 'regular', but if he's using
the commonly accepted one then it has to be Gunn, I think. Can't see 'em
killing off either of the female leads, and to be honest Gunn is in danger
of becoming a little redundant with Connor around.
To be honest, I think it's a read herring, though; like, electro-gal will
jump-start his heart after the ad break, or something.

Did he get lost? It's a maze in NG land.
Not going there. Spoilers=evil, and I'm following the example of the three
wise spoiler-monkeys where Angel is concerned.
Buffy on the other hand, someone reposted some AICN spoilers to another list
and I read them, because I'm relying on spoilers to get me interested in
watching the new season.

I've been keeping an eye on _Buffy_ spoilage for much the same reason,
although to be honest I haven't seen anything on the level of these AICN
_Angel_ spoilers; most of what I've read for _Buffy_ is the equivalent of
TV-guide info for the first episode, plus Joss' various comments.
>> Opinion of BUFFY spoilers (no actual spoilers)
Minor tangental spoilers for S7.
I dunno. I wobble between being psyched and thinking that this all has the
potential to be real damn cool, and worrying that they've actually run out
of ideas and are trying to revisit the high school years.
I need to get less cynical, possibly.

No, he got Lazy. He even has a song about how he got Lazy (no joke. I've

Mostly, his computer broke, sometime last september. He still hasn't

[5] If you still don't know what the hell [6] that is, you so need to check

[11] Not that they're [12] wrong, but still...
[12] Who they are? I have no clue [13]. It's just this general way of

[15] well, poo on you! [16] This is a LRTWF[tm] [4], you know [8], [17]
[16] Yeah, I don't know why the hell I just said that either....

"turningpoint" between a a sane [18] amount of footnotes and complete
LRTWF[tm] [4] insanity [19] is....

[28] ok so that was a lie
[29] I miss him already [28]
[30] um, that would imply that george ever posts pointy messages [31]
[31] Hah!
I swung by umtb a while ago, gave one response and occasionally read the others
but you're absolutely right about the newbies. Atbvs is the same way so I also
stopped reading it last January. Saves you lots of time not spent/wasted on
usenet.
ATA has more intelligent (ie, me, shanna, and a few others) and considerate
posters with fewer posts (as long as you kilefile Tim Bruening and AKnight) than
either one of those NGs [1].
