Just wondering if anyone here can let me know if there is anywhere
that has a listing of all the Buffy novels that have been written.
I am interested in starting a collection of these but would like to
get them in order if possible.
TIA

It gets posted to the alt,tv,buffy-v-slayer newsgroup every weekend.
If you use a news server that keeps even a few days worth of messages
just search for "FAQ"
Yes, and while you're at it, please don't crosspost, or at least put a
'followup to' header in there, so we don't get possible spoilers
(European newsgroups, the 'spoiler line' is not the same...) This is a
safe message, granted, no spoilers, but these things can degenrate..

Ok, some might be called "Adult", but are they really? And are any of
them any good?
What I want is a book that is true to the characters, and true to the
feel of the series. It must be serious and have lots of darkness to
balance the humor.

From everything I've heard, the Gatekeeper Trilogy is good, it's the
only one I plan to buy right now (I've had enough positive reveiws from
people who's tastes I trust), and the Spike and Dru book looks like it's
a nice read as well. Bit too pricey right now, being a hardcover edition
and all that..

I liked the Gatekeeper Trilogy well enough, I guess, but I wasn't blown
away by it. It's a nice read, but mainly because you know the characters so
well.
Let's just say it's somewhat better than your average fan-fiction.

I tend to think of them as the "younger teenager books" and "older
teenager books."
The "young adult" series is even a little tamer than what they show on
TV. Some of the novelizations of the episodes have bawlderized the
language a bit, and totally dropped Willow's "force is okay!" line from
"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered".
The "Adult" books acknowledge that Buffy isn't a virgin any more, and
have a lot more gore.

Well, ahhhh no.
The adult books tendto be bigger, and more expensive but there is
little difference in the different types. Some of the books are better
then others. I expect that would be more personal taste then quality.
