.............................................Hmm ? O sorry, you guys waked
me. This weeks Buffy episode ? I didn't notice one was on, I must have
missed it. No wait, I seem to remember seeing something. But I had
trouble to keep awake.
You tell me, should I blame myself because I had not enough sleep and plenty
of beer last night or was this another not very interesting episode.
Didn't I like it ? No, I can't say that. Did I like it, than ? No, I
can't say that either. It was just another "five by five" episode.
Yawn. It wasn't a bad ep, it was a "nothing" ep, which is much worse.
I am not even interested enough to go into detail.
I really hate this initiative stuff, so fortunately the last few minutes of
the ep surprisingly woke me up. Hurray, the initiative turns out to be
this season's "bad thingy". I shure hope professor Walsh is dead ! She
didn't interest me at all.
How many eps untill S5 begins ? Forgive me if I am sounding a bit
negative. (People crying out : "A bit ? One more word from you and people
start throwing themselves on to their stakes !) This season is in my view
the worst one of the four. I hope and pray that things will pick up very
soon during this season or I won't even start on S5.
I hope I feel differently after I have rewatched this ep and after some of
you guys have pointed out to me that I am very, very wrong. So go on, list
all positive things about this ep and this series in general.
Bye, Rob
was the episode that bad?

You should have set your VCR, I always do. :o)

you have gotten to spoiled. :o)

Now I can follow you again, I totally agree with that.

I had to stay awake to filter out the commercials.
> Hurray, the initiative turns out to be

Yeah, and what a suprise, I eman , the militairy, demons with special
powers, put them together and nothing good may come from that.
One could suspect something like that.Looks like a "universal soldier" deal.
> I sure hope professor Walsh is dead !
giles might agree with that. :o)

who is she???? :o)

good question, who`s got the answer.

No sory, I am a vegetarian, oh sorry, those stakes.not steaks. ;o)

yep outta highschool live gets dreary. :o)

pick up who?

I keep the faith. :o) (no not that faith, she went to angel, I think, I will
see
tomorrow)
> I hope I feel differently after I have rewatched this ep
AH, you do have a VCR.
>nd after some of
> you guys have pointed out to me that I am very, very wrong.
you are very very wrong, another bed scene is always interesting. :o)
> So go on, list

willow gets wicked, or was that wicca? well something like that.
anya and xander are tops.
riley makes me puke.(thats not positive, is it?)
buffy, more in the buff.(xcellent choice, thumbs up.)
giles gets demonic, spike becomes a lapdog, but keeps his humor and cool.
the initiative turns out to be a oppertunistic militairy organisation only
interested
in demonic parts for an experiment.Thats a nice twist.
I still miss cordelia with her razor sharp remarks, and the tension between
xander and her.
But anya makes up for that some with her blund remarks.
The good thing about this season is, that I have a S-vhs recorder now. :o)
Well, it wasn't THAT bad, IMHO. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised,
since I was expecting something truly terrible, to be brutally honest.
Something really bad, like. It wasn't.

OK then. Plot developments weren't super interesting, but they were kind
of important, even if a lot of them lead to thoughts of "how dumb is
that"..still, I enjoyed the whole Initiative, dead Walsh, and
Willow/Tara thing. Even Spike was mildly amusing.

Well, I think Adam's the season Baddie, and I'm guessing Walsh is dead.
I do think that was a little weak though, killing her off like that.
She's scarier than Adam is, for one, and I believe ultimately more
dangerous than a big freaky patchwork monster. COuld've stretched the
Walsh vs. Buffy thing a little. Coulda been fun. They may still though,
but I doubt it.
> How many eps untill S5 begins ?
9, I think. And then a big long, multi-month wait..there are some good
eps coming after next week's ep though, if my sources are to be
believed.

That it has been, quite definately, but I still think its better than
most of the shit on TV these days, and in general well worth watching.
What can I say, I'm an optimistic hardcore fan!
> I hope and pray that things will pick up very

Oh come on! Give it a shot! Season finale is supposedly good, for
one...and the idea's for S5 look good, though I dunno if the execution
is going to be. Another week and a bit and Miriam can start informing us
about that :-))

Hmmm...well...just watch it again. Its really not that bad after all.
Its not a good ep, but it has some few really nice moments. Hope you
perk up a little!

Okay, I admit I have been way too negative about this ep. I have rewatched
it tonight and as expected I've enjoyed it a whole lot more. It wasn't
that bad.
But still, I don't want "not that bad" eps. I want fantastic eps. But
watching tonights Angel ep gave me hope that at least one great ep is still
to come. The one where Faith returns. Let's hope for the best.
Rewatching the ep also made me notice a major mistake. Here it is.
Riley and Buffy just had sex. So he's with the Buff in the buff. He gets
a call telling him to report, so he gets out of bed.
The first piece of clothing he puts on is his shirt. That's so
unrealistic, the first thing anyone would put on would be their underpants.
Come on, this is a terrible mistake by the writers. Or is this a clue
which tells us that Riley isn't human. He is a mutant. As everybody
knowes mutant always put their underpants on last. Sometimes even over
their regular pants.
I have to stop now, the doctor has come in with my medication.
Bye, Rob
Hi, everybody. Don't worry people, with extensive shock treatment we will
get him fit enough in time for next weeks episode of Bunny the Butcher (or
something).
Goodbye, Rob's doctor
OK then. I liked it quite a bit. More than not that bad, in any case..

You spoiler person! (ok, so all of us knew that.) I think its a
2-parter, actually. That should be fun :-) I'm confident it'll get
better from here on out.
> Rewatching the ep also made me notice a major mistake. Here it is.
You've got me listening, on the edge of my seat, all that stuff. Do
tell.

Well, they didn't 'just' have sex. They did do some post-coital napping,
I'm fairly certain of that. He could've put on underpants (although the
fact that Buff's in the Buffy kinda disproves that.) Then again, maybe
he doesn't wear underpants. Ever thing of that?

That's superheroes. You've gotten them confused again. And it was a
little weird, but maybe he slipped into them whilst climbing out of bed,
faster than a speeding bullet, all that stuff. That, or he's weird (he
shaves his armpits, he can't be normal :-))
> I have to stop now, the doctor has come in with my medication.
I thought so..

Hehehe.....Is Rob's doctor Willow's mom? What do you think?

Oops, I didn't even think. I figured that everybody watched Angel
tonight. After this ep (which was extremely good, I thought) it's obvious
a "Faith returns" ep in BtVS will come. But still, very careless of me.

Hmm, good point.

He does what ? I didn't notice. Maybe he is saving all his bodyhair to
put into a pillow for Buffy. To give her some softness in her tough life.
That's so sweet.

Hello?? Have you heard of the 5x5 Project? I'll have to have a
talk with my PR department...

We'll forgive this little incident. In future, please do not post
spoiler for episodes after the one currenty under discussion. In
particualar, in BtVS threads like this one, do not post spoilers
for Angel episodes with a ep-number greater than or equal to the
BtVS ep in question (the fact that it may have already aired in
NL due to Fox' five week is irrelevant).
Thanks :)

Hehe...I just got a weird mental image of you talking to yourself.

You make it all sound so complicated! Its a skill, I guess..

Yeah, I do that a lot.

Yeah, well I've corrected a few mistakes (see above). Perhaps
that makes it a bit clearer??
:))
