_Angel_ is back for year five. Whoop it up!

Hi kids,

No, this is not the evil anti-Joss. I wear no goatee/van-****/fu-manchu
facial hair. I follow not the path of the scar-faced Spock.

I am the real deal. The gala mandala. The free chi.

I merely wish to spread good will hunting and Matt Damons to all by
stating that Angel will definitely be back next season. The official news
spews next week.

Kai and I love you all, love each other, love ourselves, make love to
elves, and are often fresh on Hobbits.

Bugs and Krishnas to all!

Well, unless that was a very mean and nasty Joss-impersonator, Woo-hooo from
me. I'm still a bit cautious, though.

I don't know what the fuss was about - _Angel_ was never going to be
cancelled, and the official announcement was always going to be next week.

It's a little interesting, because if you look down the VIP posts at that
link, Tim Minear was on at just about the same time - but one of his
answers is 'No, no word yet on the pick up. We'll know for sure Tuesday."

But I would have thought that if it was a joss impersonator it would've
been picked up by the other VIPs posting at the time. So my thinking is
that they knew but weren't meant to tell us until next week. Maybe Joss
was drunk? :)

Cool - still hoping that it's not directly related to the

Well, it seems like from everything they've said up to now that ME have
been expecting and planning Angel S5. Which makes me think it's not
something Joss would suddenly have to cancel his trip to End of Days
for.

Still it's cool there's going to be S5. At least, no Minear and new
direction - I *think* it's gonna be cool.

Profanity we'll excuse. Not reading the group before posting - and thus
missing the half-dozen occasion swhere it's been pointed out that the
message was fake - is less tolerable.

Where? I don't see messages saying it was fake (I know now because I just
read it in the Dutch ng...)

Oh wait... someone took out the cross post, didn't they? Hm.

Nuts. I'm only reading alt.buffy.europe and didn't realise. Sorry.

So what about people only reading one of the groups this thread was
crossposted to , where the bit about it being a hoax hadn't been posted?

I'll answer your question with a better one: why is it that people only
remove crossposts when it's inconvenient to others?

You do realise that those of us in a.b.e. still don't know what you're
talking about?

Well, I was the one who removed the crossposting for the simple
reason that my newsserver doesn't carry alt.buffy.europe and
it wouldn't let me to post to a nonexistent group. Sorry about
the confusion that this caused...

I have no idea what crossposts have been removed or why.
Those of us who only subscribe to a.b.e. had not seen the message saying
this was a hoax , but you felt this gave you the right to insult someone for
posting a "Woo Hoo" type message.
This is exactly why you have a stalker , and more to the point , its why
people have to check the headers of posts to see if it was the stalker or
just you being a twat.

For posting about the tenth "Woo Hoo" message since the "It's a hoax" post,
to be exact. There's only so much Woo Hoo I can take in one Saturnian year.
