Buffy S5 on the Beeb:

No Buffy season 5 on April 19th, right after S4. That's what it looks
like now, according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/buffy/news/index.shtml
where the following is stated:
'The BBC will definitely not be going straight into Season Five after
the end of Season Four. More details will follow as soon as possible.'
Not good. Perchance they'll manage to scrounge up the rights to Angel
S2, which would be good, but I'm not counting on it. This might mean the
video boxed sets will hit the stores before the eps hit the beeb..Let's
hope Net5 gets their act together sooner rather than later..I'm getting
a little impatient now. A little very impatient.

And on that note, Blackstar has the Buffy S5 / Angel S2 Vol.1 boxed sets
on pre-order right now. Both to be released on 4th June. Pre-order price
is £ 31.49 each.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
You can tell them that you get pissed of by the way they treet their viewers
but it will do no good.
you can write their advertisers, but do they care? as long as their
commercials
get aired regularly they don`t seem to mind what is on.
That they calculate the cost of the airtime they buy into the product you
buy
seems to matter nothing to them.
But then, did public tv stations who get their money from licenses you pay,
really care what you want ?
So, we are just screwed, it`s life.
