Can anyone tell me more about the appearance of K's choice in one of the
season 3 episodes? I almost fell off my chair to see my favourite band
in my favourite TV-show!
Never expected them to be linked in some way, very nice.

I believe that a K's choice song is on the (?) Buffy soundtrack, is it
the song they played in the show?

The K's choice song on the soundtrack is Virgin state of mind, and is on the
episode dopplegangland. . .its weird when you here bands you like on the
show, makes it feel more real. They played Moby a couple weeks ago. . .that
was cool.

What I've read in Oor, that songs is the only reason anyone
would want to buy that record.

Yep, "Virgin State of Mind", great song! Tip: I've just received the CD
from A&B Sound in Canada. Their prices are the lowest I know of. The Buffy
Album was only CAD 16.49 (that's Canadian dollars), about EUR 11 (zeg maar
een geeltje) and shipping is only CAD 5.75 for two CDs. They're not quite
as fast as the big places like Amazon.com, but worth it.

Hmm. I guess 99% of the people who reviewed on Amazon.com are wrong
then...But seriously, I've downloaded a couple o MP3s from the album,
and so far, I like all of the tunes. In fact, I will go get th actaul CD
soon. If you like alternative rock, you should like the songs on the
CD..

I particularly like the Garbage track, "Temptation Waits" (though
admittedly I already had their album...), and I also think it's great to
have the Buffy theme on CD and for that matter the last track "Close Your
Eyes (Buffy-Angel Love Theme)". I really dig this instrumental score stuff
and it's nice to hear it on its own without any dialogue or sound effects.
If they'd release more of this stuff, I'd buy it.

the best song, behind K's Choice, I think is Lucky by Bif Naked, it featured
in harsh Light Of Day (season 4 eps hence the spoilerspace), it played when
Buffy had sex (well, HE had sex, she made love), I am a bit ambiguous about
the placement of the song (the sexpart and the lyrics) but I LOVE the
song...

This is probably a stupid question but who are K's Choice? I'd never heard
of them before they were on Buffy. I love the song, though. It was stuck in
my head for weeks after I heard it on Buffy and I was thrilled when I bought
the soundtrack and it was on there.

They are an alternative rock band from Belgium. They've made three CD's that
I'm aware of. Their first hit was "Not an addict" from the CD "Paradise in
me". That's probably their best known song. After that they also had hits
with "Believe" and "Everything for free" from the CD "Cocoon crash". Their
first CD "The great subconscious club" isn't thought as good as the other
two. "Virgin state of mind" isn't on any of these CD's and I don't know if
it will be on the next.
They have a homepage: http://www.kschoice.com. You can download parts of
their songs there, but you can probably download complete ones elsewhere :)
They're quite good as you might have noticed.

There's no excuse for not knowing them... see the post by Fuzzy, he's right but
I believe their first album is at least as good as the other two.
