I just watched primeval.

i just realised it's typical of season 4. Great moments of buffy-dom,
interspersed with somewhat shallow big-audience-appeal. Look at the moment
where willow and tara come to get the laptop from giles. it's brilliant. and
it may be the booze talking here (it's friday and drinkie-drinkie for me)
but the firts 15 minutes arte rea;;y good. Only then middle 15 minutes are
somtehitn of a let-down. the last 15 min is one big action scene, which is
somwhat nice.

i'll stop typing now, before anyone ntices i'm drunk.

Ansewering to my own post, how sad:

I forgot to mention my favourite bit: the net5 subtitling:
sophus=surface=[oppervlakte]

and the bbc subtitling sophus = sophis also incorrect

to be complete sophus is not that correct either, the correct (greek)word is
sophos, knowledge.

to complete translate,

animus (latin) the animal like part of mankind, the translation of
'heart' is pretty good
sophus (?) see above
spiritus (latin) spirit, soul (catholic)
manus (latin) hand

of course, my greek and latin are a bit rusty, I could easily be wrong.
