This isn't strictly a Buffy question, but I thought someone here might be
able to help. I love the show and was wondering how it might be possible to
view it when it is released on American tv.
In other words I was wondering how it might be possible to view American tv
channels in the UK. If anyone has any ideas or knows someone I can contact I
would be grateful.
I love this newsgroup by the way, full of like minded people who love the
best tv program in the known universe.

Hi D

I'm not 100% sure but you might be able to receive it by getting a motorised
satelite dish and receiver, they are expensive about £500 for decent
equpment (I was thinking of getting it until I found out the prices). You
might be able to pick up one cheap if its analogue or second hand.

Bye

It would help very much if everyone could use the same language, say english
or french?
does any one else agree?

No, it's an impossibility. The only way that you can see the eps before
they are shown on Sky is to have a US contact who can send them to you.

No.

This is a European newsgroup with a predominantly Dutch postership.

I think it is unreasonable, unrealistic and unnecessary to consider such
an exclusive move, as it would disenfranchise Buffy fans Europe-wide.

I don't speak Dutch or French. It doesn't particularly bother me that I
miss some threads. C'est la vie.

If you listen carefully you can hear Beethoven's 5th/Schiller's "Ode To
Freedom" crescendo-ing in the background.

Vive le Euro-Harmony.

(As long as the French start eating our beef again!)

We could try Esperanto, I suppose.

I'm agree with you but don't think that Frenchs don't like your beef. It's
our gouvernment who try to forbid ya beef. I'm french and like eating your
meat.

Yeah, but there's all this Dutch. And Dutch is kind of like German,
except kinda mixed with English. Right? Right?
