Season 3 had too many characters
Buffy, Xander, Willow and Giles which stayed in sunnydale
Angel, Cordelia, Wesley and Faith who are now in LA
What do others think?

Well, actually they kinda ignored Cordelia and Xander in Season 3. So it
was basically Buffy, Willow, Giles, Angel and Faith. With an occasional
sleazy look in Cordelia's direction by Wesley.

They kinda ignored Cordelia and Xander?

Xander and Willow have 'illicit smoochies' together from 'Homecoming' to
'Lover's Walk', when they're caught by Cordelia and Oz who are both
devastated.

Cordelia then meets Anya, who grants her wish that Buffy had never arrived,
resulting in an alternate reality in which vampires had taken over
Sunnydale, and the two main vampires were Xander and Willow.

Xander had an entire episode to himself in 'The Zeppo', and was also the
first to find out (after Buffy) that Angel had returned.

They were in every episode, and Xander at least had some important
storylines, particularly the whole 'affair' with Willow and the Faith nearly
killing him thing.
We also learned that Cordelia's wealth had been a lie for at least half of
that year, as her dad had been fiddling taxes meaning she had to work in a
clothes shop in order to buy a dress for the prom.
And of course, she was prominent in the episode 'Homecoming' where she's
mistaken for Faith and helps Buffy fight the demons/vampires/German spies.

"Kind of ignored", indeed. Which season 3 were you watching?

The 'Faith nearly killing him' thing was a couple of minutes. Hardly a
season arc thing. Granted, the affair thing was big, but I was wretching in
the vomit bucket every time he attached his lips to that witch.

Cordelia had less scenes than Xander in Season 3. Apart from 'Homecoming'
(which was ONE episode out of 22), she was basically making cameo
appearances.

Hardly a season arc? If Angel hadn't seen her try to kill him, nobody would
have realised she'd turned to the other side. Granted, Angel's discovery was
more important than Xander being there, but if he hadn't been there, they
wouldn't have known (though we would, we had seen her lack of remorse after
killing Finch). Faith's turning evil (killing Finch, trying to kill Xander,
Willow and Buffy, trying to make Angel lose his soul, working for the mayor)
is, after the Mayor's 'ascension', the main arc for that series.

I'll hear nothing against Willow. She's absolutely lovely.
Still, personal tastes etc.

I'll give you that about Cordelia. After she split up with Xander, she was
hardly in it, until she met Wesley and became briefly besotted, and she
started taking an active part again, but it was reduced from what it was in
Season 2. Really, in S1 she was hardly in it much at all either. It's only
since she crossed over to Angel that she's come into her own. I don't think
she was very important in Buffy at all. For a start, she barely liked them
anyway.

Do they not have region-specific groups in Finland? I ask as a
complete ignoramus. This is a UK group, after all, so why don't the
Finnish have one?

Apologies for any cross-posts this reply results in, but my newsreader

I think a good product would be 'Baby Duck Hat.' It's a fake baby duck,
which you strap on top of your head. Then you go swimming underwater until
you find a mommy duck and her babies, and you join them. Then all of the

ducks really take off! Also Baby Duck Hat is good for parties.

Aslam I hope you're reading this... I just saw what you did. You almost
got it right. Let me explain to you once more how this works :

Cross posting, if you really really have to is okay (but why would
you???) BUT you have to put only ONE newsgroup in the "Follow-up To"
box, sothat you avoid that every single post is going over the limited
amount of bandwidth 9 times....

this is what you did :

To : alt.buffy.europe
Followup-To: alt.fan.david-boreanaz, alt.fan.hannigan, alt.fan.sarah-
m-gellar, alt.tv.angel, alt.tv.buffy-v-slayer,
aus.tv.buffy, uk.media.tv.angel, uk.media.tv.buffy-v-
slayer

It should have been the other way around. You understand? What would be
even better is that you choose just ONE newsgroup where you want to
discuss your questions. Like uk.media.tv.buffy-v-slayer

Thanks for your attention...

If you ever reach total enlightenment while you're drinking a beer, I bet it
makes beer shoot out your nose.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over here,
looking through your stuff.

I guess we were all guilty, in a way. We all shot him, we all skinned him,
and we all got a complimentary bumper sticker that said: I helped skin Bob.

Sometimes I wish I were dead. No, wait. Not me - you.

I wish I would have a real tragic love affair and get so bummed out that I'd
just quit my job and become a bum for a few years, because I was thinking
about doing that anyway.

He's really that stupid... incredible. From the headers:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 62.255.182.232
X-Complaints-To: ab...@ntlworld.com

Abusemail sent. If anyone else want to do so... please. I'm fed up with
this garbage. Include full headers when you do so.
