A spoiler. Thanks. NOT!!!! Anything that hasn't aired on the BBC
(anything after Gingerbread) needs spoiler space. And obciously,
don't post spoilers in the header.

Isn't that a rumor for the moment? Not a new one, but still,
rumor as far as I know. I don't really care though.

This was a rumour yeah. Like a one month old one. I so hoped it was
gonna be her, but she's not going to be it. The latest I heard on this,
from my sources sources source, was that Michelle Trachtenberg got the
part ;)

----------------------------------
Following previous
reports
on TWW, Joss Whedon
confirms that The WB's
occult hit will add a
regular
character, a girl
named
Dawn who has darkly
psychic powers.
Variety &
Reuters confirmed
today
that Michelle
Trachtenberg, previously known for
her
roles in Harriet The Spy and
Inspector
Gadget, has won the role.
Trachtenberg's
official web site, yet to be updated
with
today's news, notes that she is an
avid
Buffy fan.
Dawn is expected to be the 'little
sister'
previously alluded to in the show. So
is
she Buffy's blood relative? ''It's
more
complicated than that,'' teases Joss
Whedon. ''But they become like
squabbling siblings.''
Quick to dispel accusations that this
is a
gimmicky move, Whedon says ''Buffy's
not suffering from Raven-Symone
Syndrome - the tendency of ageing
series
to add adorable tykes, as NBC's The
Cosby
Show did in 1989, in an attempt to
boost
ratings. ''The WB certainly didn't
say, 'Can
you add a moppet? Everyone likes a
moppet!''' Whedon maintains. ''Dawn
is
not there to be cute and cuddly.''
Yeah,
that's what they said about cousin
Oliver.
Inside info queen Wanda at E!Online
added: "Think, "I see demons.". She
has
special powers similar to the kid in
Sixth
Sense. The casting call describes
Dawn as
a "nice, vulnerable kid" who often
goes
into "a kind of trance during which
dark
forces speak through her." As far as
I
know, she hasn't been cast yet."
Michelle Trachtenberg's other
television
credits include autistic child Lily
Montgomery on the ABC soap All My
Children (didn't another actress on
AMC
go on to do great things on
Buffy?!!!) and
a regular role on the Nickelodeon
series
The Adventures of Pete and Peter. She
has
also made guest appearances on Dave's
World, Saturday Night Live, Law &
Order,
Clarissa Explains It All and Meego.

It is a bloomin Spoiler. People didn't know there was a character
named [insert name here] if they haven't seen the whole of S4,
and possibly even then. Any rumors about seasons yet to come can
be considered spoilers, at least thats the way it works here.
Granted, its not a big spoiler (it barely classifies) but it
reamins a spoiler. Adding appropriate space isn't hard. Anyway,
this isn't really a group where lots of spoilery/rumor stuff is
posted. We go to the US groups for that ;-))
