Will Channel 4 be airing Angel S2 and if yes, when do they start. Or
have they already started? Or have they dropped the show altogether
after last year's debacle?
Bye, Patrick
They have not started, and AFAIK there is no indication that they
have even purchased the rights. Indeed they seem to be no longer
interested in the show after last year's debacle. This could
already be guessed from the way they treated their second run of
S1, putting it on later and later on Monday night / Tuesday
morning, 1am, 2am, 3am... didn't exactly look like a show they
intended to continue with, or get their viewers psyched up for
the new season.
This would all be fine, if BBC TWO would just pick up Angel and
start showing it in widescreen alongside and in-sync with their
BtVS S5 run which has just started last week. But for some
reason, they seem not to have done so, so at this time it remains
unclear when, where, and ideed *if* Angel S2 will ever be shown
on UK terrestrial TV at all.
