OK I know the last thing we really need right now is 'another' thread on
this but even so... this is an incoherent review

Erm has someone already said WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!

No?

OK I'll do it then:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

OK you know how I have had Spike issues for the last two seasons - to the
point where I almost stopped watching at the end of season 5, in fact it
took me until just recently before i caught up completely. This was purely
because I was just not interested enough to chase copies of the eps.
Fortunately my friendly dealer came to the rescue - but hey still not happy
with the whole Spike loves Buffy angle.

Well OK I now buy it, hook, line and sinker. Why? Why this change of
heart? Well you know how I bought the Dru/Spike love thing because it was
dark and twisted and you just knew that there was nasty stuff going on in
the bedroom? And you know I didn't buy this 'lets change Spike into a
semi-scooby but still treat him like shite, and then make him a sap even
though he's evil thing'? Well lets see what they did in this ep to change
my mind..

First of all making it possible for Spike to belt the living daylights out
of the Buffster without migrainage. Niiice. Did ya know I had Buffy issues
too (little whiny self absorbed......)

Then Spike goes off to eat people, proving he IS still evil after all.

Unfortunately he can only harm Buffster, which means the Scooby Gang still
can't morally stake him because he is now only a threat to Buffy and not
Society as a whole, and we all know Buffy can whop his ass (hmmmm, that I
would like to s...... ooops)

So we have a truly evil Spike, whom cannot actually harm society. No
stakage, but a nice flashback to Season 2 Spike (whom I loved passionately).

Then we have the erm sex scene. WOO HOO!!!! Pity poor Mattia who was
talking me through it while I watched it for the first time.

But I like like like this. We get nasty, violent, sexy sex, born out of
despair and lust and erm lots of other things. And I am afraid this is
where my coherency slips and I actually can rreview any more of this part of
the ep, cos I wander off into a little dream world. :)

However onto the Willow, Tara, Amy thang. Hmmmm, Willow is certainly having
issues at the moment. There is this whole addiction metaphor going on. Amy
was bizarre anyway and it is lovely to have her back. But didn't Amber look
lovely in this ep. Very nice bit of work here - Tara looks lovely, Amy
keeps disappearing off and leaving Willow behind - there is a certain
undercurrent going on there.

Anyway all of the Willow stuff was eclipsed by Buffy humping another dead
body. Hmm doesn't sound so attractive now does it. Keep that thought in
your mind, and stay sane.

oh and WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I'm really liking her now. She's come a long way too.

Hurray!

Talking to Mattia while watching the episode? Erm... okay...

Right there with ya.... it's the nastyness, the wild raw lust and
obsessiveness that's making this work. I'm loving this.

LOL.

Nah...the last thing we need is naked Spike. More reviews? Bring 'em on!

Actually...

Well, 'end'. Episode 16. Or something.

Well, duh. 'cause, like, it was screwy. Retroactively you can logick
your way out of it because it does line up, but still..

Oooooh.......

Yes, I did. I'm like one of the four people on the face of the earth who
basically doesn't, apparently. So be it.

> Then Spike goes off to eat people, proving he IS still evil after all.

YESSS!!!!!!!! I was afraid (well, with what they'd been doing for too
damn long...) that he'd chicken out and be good and crap (damn those
stupid redemptionists!! Argh!!! It's their fault, I tell ya. Well, that
and the very inconsistent writing thing...) but no, he tried his best.
GO SPIKE!!! And then 'DAMN YOU DREW!! Why did you have to do that to
us?" And then 'oooooh!'

Tut tut, Sue...this isn't #thehellmouth, you know. We have standards to

It's not as wrong as it sounds...no, wait, it is. Being on IRC while
watching an eppie. Evil, eh? As for the rest? No power on this earth.
