I wanna to know who is really Giles ??
I am thinking he is possible "Jack The Ripper".
Indeed "Ripper".

What do you think ???

I think that Ripper is merely a nickname from earlier days...

I believe so as well, as A:
In the halloween epi his "friend" calles him first Jack, thence
In the Last apisode he calles him "ripper" a few times and cordy picks up on
it.. though the storyline dies here. (im from america.. seen all the epis)

Uh...I'm assuming by "friend" you mean Ethan. When does Ethan (or
anyone, for that matter), call him Jack?

(And the storyline doesn't die quite there. Band Candy, anyone?)

In Haloween, giles was called rippert by...i don't remember his name

and in an other one (can't remember the name to) when a daemon take
possetion of dead bodies (and miss calendar to) we learnt by the men in
haloween and giles why he was called rippert:

in university he practiced black magic "party" and call the daemon who use
dead boby

I don't know if you can inderstand my english but I try to be as
inderstanding as possible

Giles is actually Buffy's Watcher and nothing more. A lot of people think he
was reincarnated from "Jack the Ripper" or something but he wasn't. Giles got
the nickname "Ripper" because in his adolescence he was quite the trouble maker
and horrible kid. :)
