question about the episode on earlier last week

I have a question about the episode on earlier last week
in it it was halloween and this guy called "Ethan" had put a spell and
whoever wore a dress/costume for halloween would become that kind of person
for example willow became a ghost,buffy became a scared little princess,
Xander became a copy of rambo,at the end Ethan and Giles confront eachother
and You see Giles kicking Ethans ass(man he can actually fight )
to find out how to break the spell.At theend Ethan says I knoew what you are
capable of nobody elses knows what you are really like.What does he mean
by that?Does Gileas have a skeleton in his closet?Reply pewrsonally or to

When i saw that episode the 1st time i realy thought(hoped for) that Giles who
has the nickname Ripper
was an incarnation of Jack the Ripper ,some how i thougt that was way beter as
the solution they came
up with in the series

Buffy is "The Slayer", tough, strong, yada, yada.
But have you been paying attention?
Who trains Buffy in combat techniques?

In the near future of Buffy episodes you will notice that Giles does indeed
have a skeleton in the closet and is totally different as when he was in the
adolescent time than when he is an adult.
