Heya,

It's obvious that plenty of people here are getting to watch Season 7 of
Buffy only days after the america air time while in most European countries
Season 6 is the only one getting aired.

The question is obvious... how are you doing this ? Are you somehow
receiving american cable (hello! tell me how) or downloading the episodes in
avi format (how how - kazaa is very slow).

Ta very much !

The easiest way for you to get hold of the episodes is to download them from
the alt.binaries.multimedia.buffy-v-slayer newsgroup using a newsreader like
Grabit.
http://www.shemes.com/grabit/

400mb VCDs tend to arrive around the time the eps air in the states , with
800mb SVCDs and Divx files a couple of days later.

People with handy FTP sites can get them a bit quicker , but you won't find
many people willing to share that sort of information.

I use an ADSL connection, leave the computer on 24/7, and download the
series,
and at night you might get users from different countries that maybe have
even faster connections.It works.

And there are Divx<avi> mpeg`sd out there, the mpeg`s are ussually bigger
(400mb or 800mb, 400 to make VCD`s and 800 for SVCD`s)

It's not uncommon for the download to be available before the episode
airs in the US.

Actually, the easiest way to get the episodes is to install BitTorrent
(http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/) and get them from one of the
websites that offer bittorrent downloads.

With BitTorrent installed, it's just a matter of clicking on a link to
start the download, just like any other file you download on the web.
And it's fast!

I'm not going to give any URLs where you can find the episodes here. Do
some obvious searches on Google and they should come up.

On BitTorrent you'll only really get the 400MB version.

Which is why I didn't recommend it , as he specifically asked about the Divx
versions.
I'm guessing he is on a slower connection and wants the smaller file sizes.
Could be wrong though.

Ok if you are over seas do you not get cable internet? That is the fastest
way to download from Kazaa.Other than that I don't know how you can get the
season 7 episods any faster.Hope that helps you a little bit.

Thanks guys, I'll try the newsgroup grabber(s). I do have a cable
connection, and I did leave Kazaa on at night, but all I have after a week
is halves of episodes. I was looking for something more stable to download
from, time is less of an issue (anything for buffy).

Some cable suppliers are not that fast overhere and even worse
at service. So I did have cable but switched to ADSL.

Search for usenet/news providers online. A paid account with people like
easynews.com, for example, is probably your best bet. Good, complete,
free newservers for binaries don't exist.
