My nitpicking of the week:

Willow was really annoying with her whimpering. Alyson
doesn't do a good "insecure high school girl" anymore. Stop
this. It's unconvincing.

On the whole, I think it was a good episode, with the Buffy
& Angel thing back in the main story, and an interesting
plot. This ep was not as good as Band Candy, but better than
all the other previous S3 episodes. Just wish they didn't
rush it like this. There was enough material in this ep for
a 400 page novel. At least, they could have made it into a
90 minutes episode. (And I don't mean, split it in two
separate eps.)

Xander: How IS Angel? Pretend I care.
Buffy: Getting better.
Willow: And you're loving playing nursemaid?
Buffy: Oh, yeah!
Xander: So, is it better than playing naughty stewardess?

And another chance for me to disagree <g>..do you think we'll *ever*
agree on an ep *lol*?

Ok...totally disagree here....alyson was one of the highlights of the
episode. Alyson still handles the role as well as in s1. Yes willow had
matured but she's still the same old willow. She'll always stay like
this..she might get more confindent (which has allready happened) but
her character will never change drastically.....and thats why she's
still my favorite character :-)

Indeed...a good plot :-)

Have to disagree here....Band candy was fun but it cetainly wasnt the
highlight of the show in s3....I'd have to go with either this ep or
homecoming for that.

Thats a good point. The ep feeled rushed especially towards the end.
Also it seemed a bit uneven at points, almost like the script was
written for a two parter but they decided to cram it all into one ep.
Its the thing what kept the ep from being totally magnificent....

See Ya,
George
