"Intervention time again?"

Hold on... /me thinks back... is Willow referring to their intervention
in Revelations? Cause that's a pretty cool reference then. Can't think
of any other time the Scoobies had to intervene because Buffy had lost
it. There was sort of an intervention in The Yoko Factor, but that
wasn't just meant for Buffy. Or was she thinking about the convincing
speech Xander gave to Buffy about Riley in Into the Woods. Whatever, I'm
sticking with my first option until someone comes up with a better one.

I said this before, and I'll say it again: I don't like robots on Buffy.
Even if they look like Buffy and are quite funny with that 'desktop'
view through her eyes. How the hell did Warren manage to build such a
perfect robot on so such short notice. Wait, don't tell me because I
don't wanna know. I'll just suspend my disbelief even further into fairy
tale territory. Hellmouth, magick, www.reallifedolls.com, just call it
what you want.

I was wondering when Glory would make good on her threat to start
finishing off Buffy's friends when she doesn't hand her the Key.
Especially now that she knows the Key is a person. So Buffy is
protecting a person, now how hard can it be to find out who that is?
Nice detail is of course that Glory can't just start killing Buffy's
friends, cause she might end up killing the Key that way. Still from an
evil Hellbitch on a time schedule I'd expect some more haste in finding
out who the Key is. Giving Spike the third degree is just a start. But
someone even more close to Buffy might speed things up. Her mother is no
longer an option, so someone like her sister perhaps? And she might want
to get her hands on the Key before the Knights-who-say-Key do. Although
it seems (middle) ages since we've heard from them.

Spike showed once again that he means business with protecting the
(feelings) of the Summer's women. He's very protective of the ones he
loves. And hey, if even a well sunlit room as Glory has doesn't do him
harm then what does :) I was a bit surprised by the strength of the
minions though. Seems there's more to them then mere grovelling. And I
think Jinx lets himself get beaten up by Ben because he might risk
hurting Glory when he hits back. And of course, Ben might have some
extra powers himself.

Finally we get to hear some more Slayer lore. This was supposed to be
the season in which Buffy learns more about the meaning of being the
Slayer. The secret and sacred Slayer retreat is conveniently placed in a
nearby desert. A cold desert judging from the warm clothes Giles and
Buffy wear. The Slayer Guide (no not a book, it takes the form of the
First Slayer) says that Buffy is full of it. Love that is. And that'll
lead her to her gift, which is death. Well there's an original gift for
ya. This could be interpreted numerous ways. The easiest being that the
Slayer is gifted powers to slay evil, thus giving the gift of life and
freedom to potentional victims. But then Life would be the gift, not
Death. Ah, these campfire stories are seldom to be taken literally
anyway.

Four eps to go for wrapping this season up. A lot of works still needs
to be done from the looks of it. At least that means no more fillers.
But the remaining eps could either be rushed or action packed thrillers.
We'll see.

He copied the plan of John Ritter when he built himself.

Maybe the kid is a genius. More to the point where did he get the money and
parts. Maybe that first series when that demon who faniced willow built
himself. Perhaps he was involved in that and learnt a thing or two.
Perhaps a novelisation of the series will have answers on those lines.

Death to the souless vampires. Once the bodies die maybe the previous
owners can rest.
