Question about GONE

few americans here.... so my question is this.. was gone shown last Tuesday in
only certain places? Because i just moved to Phoenix, AZ, where they showed 2
reruns, THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD & THE GIFT on the UPN, instead of GONE, like i
thought was supposed to air... i even wore my faithful Buffy blood drive shirt
(as is my habit on Tues. when it's on) it's driving me nuts that i haven't seen
it, so of course i read the spoilers, but it's just not the same as *seeing*
Buffy... grrr... thanks if you can help

Gone was shown the Tuesday before last, the 8th. Not last tuesday. Last
monday we had new 'Angel', but no new Buffy is coming until the 29, next
week tuesday (not coming tuesday..)

Sorry, but I have no clue what the repeat schedules look like. You may
want to check out UPN's website, see if that helps, or get a friendly
friend with a broadband connection to download it for you, or something
(if nobody has the tape, that is..)
A general guide to when new eps are on is epguides:

Has titles and airdates (past and tentaive future). They're not always
right, though..

Mattia gave the good general answer, I'll give the Phoenix specific
answer.
WotW/Gift was the scheduled UPN telecast for last Tuesday and
Bargaining (both parts) is the scheduled UPN telecast for this
Tuesday. Gone was the scheduled UPN telecast for January 8th,
although it didn't air in Phoenix on January 8th.
The Phoenix UPN station, Channel 45 (KUTP) has had a contract to
broadcast Phoenix Suns games longer than UPN has been in existence.
When they bump programming for a Suns game, like they did on the 8th,
they'll generally reschedule the bumped programming for the weekend.
In this case, Gone (and the Monday night sitcom repeats that followed
it in the Roswell slot) was shown on Saturday, January 12th.
By the way, KUTP will be showing a Suns game this Tuesday also. The
repeat of Bargaining is currently scheduled to air on Sunday the 27th,
but they did the same with Gone and then changed it to Saturday. If
you want to watch it, check the online tv listings a little later in
the week to make sure KUTP hasn't moved it.
There isn't a Suns game on the 29th. At the moment Doublemeat Palace
(the next new Buffy ep) is scheduled to air in its regular time slot
here in Phoenix.
It wasn't the least little bit annoying that the only new episode of
Buffy between November 28th and January 29th was bumped for a
basketball game.
