Not unless you lied or something. We both got a 16/20 on day 19 and a
12/20 on day 20. The 2 point differential remains ;-P
Now I hope that no other people did spectacularly or anything and bump
me down too far ;-)
Oh, and different topic: the cutting in 'Hush' was terrible. Atrocious.
Hideous. Worst to date. So many little cuts, all the funny sex jokes
were gone! Grrr....

Yes, but in my mind I was much better, of course. Well, it's congrats to
you!

I know! It was terrible. i think thet went a little overboard on this one,
they cut things that aren't all that explicit. Shame on you, BBC!

Good for you! If you really want to surpass The Master of Useless
Knowledge [tm] that is. :)
Ow, I scored more than twice as high on Buffy than on Angel. I
really need to watch those Angel ep's again. I'm higher than I
expected to be on the Buffy list and I'm even appearing on the
overall list <waves at P@rick>.
I seem to be a bigger fan than I realised :)
Sierk
You beat me on that part whatever else happens. I'm going to do slightly
better on the Buffy than on the Angel part, I think. No big diff between
the two though.

Terrible, really. The cutting was ok, but half the stuff seemed out of
context (of course we've seen the ep before, so it could be less worse
than it seemed, though I doubt it..)

You did a really good job on the Buffy part of the list. Number 2 on the
abe sublist. The Angel part was a little dissapointing though (I've
watched both sets about the same amount of times, I must say...I'm
equally versed in both shows it would seem. Trivia is fun ;o)

You don't say. I kinda noticed that during the IRL and the other trivia
stuff...
You're a fan with trivia knowledge. Face it.

You know, the kind of knowledge that make your non-fan friends
think that you've gone loco on them. Has that never happened to
you? :)

I've still seem most Angel eps only once. Don't know why, really,
since I think Angel S1 is better than Buffy S4 (as do most people
here, I believe).

That's bad, isn't it....
Is there a cure, or is this a hopeless case?

You really must indeed. Just watch em in sync with the BBC airings. That
should work :o)

Atrocious.

And this surprises you why?
But really, I don't think the cuts would bother someone who sees the ep
for the first time. Continuity wasn't badly harmed, although it took a
lot of snippage. People who don't watch the uncut version miss out on
some good jokes, but they'll live.
What I really noticed is that they cut the part where Tara is knocking
on a door and a Gentleman answers it. I think he's holding a freshly
removed heart in that scene.
Bye, Patrick
Aaand.. cut!
Do you think I actually told my non-fan friends what I'm doing?
Wise choice, I guess.
OTOH, Mattia got his *mother* to watch the show, so you never know
what happens if you do tell people about it.

:o)
Well, yes. We used to watch it all together, relaxing saturday evening
thing. This was pre real fandom, to be honest. Then I left, sister still
watched with parents. Now I'm home with collections of Buffy 'n Angel
tapes, and I've been surprised to hear from my parents, now home alone
that "Oh, I think I've seen this one" (Fear, Itself) and such
things..hehehe...not real fans, but they watch. It's on kinda late here,
though. Enjoying a S4 christmas watching here. Oh, and my mom said she
was "pleasantly surprised" by how good Angel was (only 'City Of...' so
far..should I skip 'Lonely Hearts' or not?) Didn't think she'd like it
from the description, but she does. Fun holiday, so little time, so much
to watch.

You know, I'm under the impression that the Angel questions were going
much more into detail. For example, they asked the housenumber of the
family in IGYUMS. As opposed to the room number Willow and Buffy have
(214).
I played the entire quiz again today at work. Didn't really cheat (made
most of the mistakes I made earlier), but took my time thinking the
questions through and answering them. Scored a total of 177. So it's
mostly in the time pressure I guess.
> I seem to be a bigger fan than I realised :)
That's nothing to be ashamed of :o)
Bye, Patrick
We had the same score at the time. It seems you scored quite a lot
better on the last two questions!

Not for me, I think. Most of those Angel questions I wouldn't have
known even if I could think about them all day. Well, I could look
'm up, maybe, but Angel really isn't my forte.

George? Crazy? Well, a bit, certainly. No more than we are of
course :)

Oh, a lot of my friends know and like BtVS, but not as much as I
do. They concider it as one of my quirks. No biggy.
I haven't informed my family yet of the extend of my addiction, but
they know I like the series.

Watch Lonely Hearts, I'd say. I really don't think it's all that
bad.

Of course :-)

Yeah, I have a few friends who also watch Buffy, a few who have watched
it and a lot who've either never seen it or don't like it. It's those
who think I'm really crazy :-)
> I haven't informed my family yet of the extend of my addiction, but

Well, my mum sort of *has* to know. I mean, I still live at home, and
there's a lot of Buffy merchandise in the house ;-)
Oh and I think I'm getting buffy merch. for christmas ;-)
Lonely Hearts was a *lot* better the second time around. The first time
I really wasn't in the mood for a LH type episode. It's still a fact
they overdid the depressing that time 'round. So you must be the judge,
mattia. Do they want to see a very depressing, but
not-as-bad-as-you-thought episode, or do you just wanna skip it?
> <ducks the old-fashioned way>

See Ya,
George
Right, your Willow shrine. That would be something of a giveaway, I
guess.
Does your family know so much about your Buffy merchandise that
they know what you don't have yet, or have you given some helpful
hints about what to give you?
It's not all that depressing! It brings across the message that
even if you get hurt, you should still be able to trust people who
come across your way. Very chrismassy, if somewhat barfworthy if
you put it this way.
Speaking of christmas, I wish you all a merry one. I'm going to my
parents today, who aren't plugged into the 'net yet, so I'll see ye
all in a few days

Well, not really a Willow shrine, actually :-) There's not that much
Aly stuff out there. There *is* a lot of general merch though, and
since I'm a Buffy fan first, Aly fan second I'm more than content with
that as well :-)

Well, my mom has to look at the stuff the whole day, so she sort of
knows (There's a "vitrinekast" (transl.?) filled with Buffy merch. in
the living room, soo....
I also hinted at those nice Buffy christmas ornaments, though :-)

It *is* very dark. And depressing. It's filled with desperate people.
Of course they give a positive swing to it in the end, but on the whole
it's still dark and depressing....

Yes. Very true. I just remembered that we get introduced to Kate in LH.
Important plot point/character. Can't just go off and skip it
flippantly, can we now?

Yes, and from me, un Joyeux Noel, Buon Natale, Froeliche Weinachten,
Merry Christmas, and all that...
