Tony's is obviously good, him being English.
Alexis's is pretty good, but his dialogue is cringe worthy at time.
James's isn't bad - again suffers for poor dialogue at times. His
American doing an English doing an American accent was a classic though.
David's Irish accent is absolutely dreadful which is a shocker seeing as
he was married to an Irish girl, and Glen Quinn was his friend.

Well, although it is surprising seeing as Joss lived in England for so
long, some of Spikes dialogue is just odd. Perhaps it is James's
inflection on the words, but certainly some words he says do grate a
little. For example, some of the swear words he uses like bugger and
wanker and poof are all good, well used English forms of
abuse/endearment. But on the whole James does a very good job and I know
he is proud of his English accent. To be honest, when I first started
watching BTVS I thought he was english, who had perhaps spent a while in
Merkia, or was over emphasising the englishness of certain words for the
american market. He is supposed to have a London accent by the way (and
according to Season 2 Angel, this is put on as his original accent was
far more middle class).
The same goes for Wesley, who has an upper class accent. He
overemphasises words like 'tea' almost as if he is making the point that
tea is inherently British. To me the upper class wimp accent does go
with Season 3 Buffy, but it also makes an appearance in Season 2 Angel
(The Trial for example where he suggests he and Angel had 'tea').
Dru is supposed to be cockney and I am afraid she doesn't do so well.
However her lines are so bizarre she gets away with it. Personally she
would have been better off with a slightly northern accent but hey,
that's just my opinion. Her accent makes her seem (for the time) lower
class than Spike. In flashbacks she was obviously dressed as middle
class so I am surprised that her accent is so obvious. As I say a soft
northern, or a similar accent to Giles would have been more in keeping.
Actually thinking about it it isn't actually the accent that is so wrong,
but the stereotypical englishness of the characters.

Oh just don't go there...
Anyone else want to jump in? I am sure I am not the only English person

Its got to be the direction. AD has a near perfect English accent at his
disposal. For comparison - see him as "Rossendale" in various "Sharpe"
episodes.
While we're on the subject - Sean Bean's "Irish" (and I used the term
advisedly) accent in "Patriot Games"; is by far the worst I've heard - much
worse than DB ever got.
