To steal yet another idea from ToG [tm], what about our own
fanfiction story? I've allready written a first part (see
below ;-)) which doesn't have to be used (if you all end up
hating it - which could happen, because I'm probably not the
worlds best writer ;-)). Anyway if people like the idea we
could start up a story (possibly using this first part), and
make a list of people who could do a new part every so
often. Sounds like fun to me, but I allways like that type
of stuff. Just let me know what you guys think :-)
Ok, so here's what I came up with for the first part <ducks
for all the negative comments about spelling, grammar,
"zinsopbouw", "leesbaarheid" (excuse my dutch) etc.> :
The cold December wind howled through the trees, slowly
making the now leafless branches move to its unheard song.
Some snowflakes started to fall from the sky. A few found
their final resting place in the trees, others fell on the
people walking in the park beneath, but most ended up on the
ground, only to be stepped upon by people who were
completely unaware of the obstacles they had faced to get
where they were now. Birds, who had not gone south for
winter, moved on the branches trying to stay warm in this
cold weather. Suddenly an extremely bright light could be
seen over the hills in the farthest corner of the park.
Everywhere people stopped to stare at this strange sight.
Slowly the earth began to open up. A few screams could be
heard in the distance…
“I can feel the universe trembling. We’re gonna have
ourselves a party, aren’t we love?” Drusilla squealed
joyously.
“Yes we are, Pet” Spike replied. “By the end of the day
we’ll have ourselves a party like we never had before”.
“Will we dance in the sunlight?” Drusilla said while she
trembled lightly with excitement.
“Will we…”
“Look, we’ve been over this a thousand times, Dru! You know
what we’re going to do. So stop bothering me and let me and
the boys do the planning!”.
Drusilla let out a light moan and retreated into a dark
corned to pout. Immediately Spike went over to her. “Sorry
pet, it’s just that there’s still so much to take care of,
so much to plan. I just want everything to be perfect.
Perfect for you, perfect for my Princess. Do you
understand?”
Drusilla purred. “Yes love. I know what you want.” Her face
vamped out with excitement “It’s been a while since we’ve
had ourselves a good massacre”…
That's it....
I've basically kept it very short, so the story can still go
pretty much any way.
So...

Well great! How about you write the second part. Following
directly on what I wrote allready. The next one to apply can
write the next part. Say Mattia, we're gonna put this up on the
website, right?

Yup. I know :-) But that's a lot less fun. The idea was to do this with
the regs from *this* group. To keep us occupied during the break for new
episodes (damned Fox&Net5 :-( )....

I have Casema as well, and I *do* have Fox. It's mostly all about the local
cabel counsils (or whatever the official name is). They simply decide what
channels you get on your cable. It's a very bad system, but there's nothing we
can do about it :-(
Anyway, Angel has now stopped on Fox and is probably going to Net5, so you can
at least catch season 2...
Btw, you're new here, right (if not, than I missed you in the past and I'm
sorry :-))? Welcome!! It's allways nice to have some new blood contributing to
the group.
You can check out our webpage at http://www.bite.to/abe, for insights on
posting to this group etc. I think it's down at the moment (bite.to server at
least. What's the direct adress again?) but it'll be up again soon. Check it
out sometime :-)

Sorry, it took me a while before I read it but I finally did. Cool!
Dru!! I'm happy sofar :-)) Interesting beginning...
don't think I'll join in (I'm not feeling very imaginative) but I'll be
the fan, okay? :-)

Hmm must be a different city than, we do, and we have casema, must the
the darned programmaraad in your city than.:o(
But then we also have the beautifull, state of the art, cable internet
system
called "demo`s" ,which can reach speeds, on a sunny day, of a 28k8 modem
wow, it is cable connected with the speed of a ancient modem, I don`t know
'how they can do it. :o)

Yay! :-) Glad that you think so. I *love* Spike&Dru. They're a large part
of why s2 is so cool as well :-)

Hmmm ;-)
Ok, if you don't feel up to it, you can be the fan.....
See Ya,
George
I may sign up at some point (I can write fiction, I just don't do it
very easily. That, and I'm a little short on idea's right now. It's
easier when I have some sort of extra stuff to work from ;-) Oh, and I
can write Spike decetly, methinks. Especially a Spike who swears :-)

One word:
Duh.
;-)
One more point; do you guys mind if I proofread and makes some
grammatical/spelling suggestions/corrections before I put it up?
Contrary to what one might think when reading my posts, I CAN actually
write 'proper' english ;-)

He who types sloppily.
:-))
Since yesterday I'm recharged on Spike and Dru-ness. I'm thinking up
some pleaseantly insane and occasionally violent things that out
fantastic little couple can pull off..

Well great. Perhaps you could do part3, whenever P@rick finishes part2.
Think about it :-)

Well, that seems ok to me. Anyone else have any objections??

I will. P@rick has this tendency to write good stories, so that ought to
inspire me (feeling at pressure yet P@rick? ;-)

No? Good.

All right then, take a break. Here's a gatorade, that'll help.

I hope to finish my story by the end of this week, but I can't promise
anything. I think it's good if everybody takes their time to write a
good story. I rather have that than a rushed one just to get it over
with. How about a 1-2 week writing period? And if not enough people
join, we could write multiple parts.

Check. A long period to write the story seems like a good plan to me. I
mean, just thinking something up in a few minutes (ok, so granted the
first part took me about 20 mins, but it's not tat long and not that good.
It has at least one sentence that makes me crinch ;-)) isn't the way to
go..
Oh and we could indeed write multiple parts if that eventually comes
up....we'll just wait and see :-)
See Ya,

can I sign up?
And if I can: sign me up :o)

Well, no time limit anyway. I don't often go for rewrites, I just spew
stuff out <everyone else>DUH</everyone else>

I'm curious. How exactly do you crinch?

Right. We'll go with the flow for now.
