Hi all!

I've spent the last three days watching the first season.
Every episode from WTTH to PG.

As I have mentioned before, otherwise I usually just pick an episode
I'm in the mood for and that means mixing episodes and seasons.
This is probably the first time I've watched the entire season in the
right order since the first time...

The results?

I love it!!

Yes, it's still very, very good.
I mentioned something before (thread about Reruns) about slightly
rough acting - I now know it's not really the acting that bothered me.
It's more a couple of characters that I don't like, and I really don't
know if it's because of the actors or the characters.
So, who are they?
Darla. She's trying too hard. She's simpering and smiling and widening
her eyes - too much.
The Annointed One. Big question-mark here. What's so special about
him? So, he's a vampire? Big deal, he never drinks blood, he never
gets a "face" and he never DOES anything. A child that can't act -
yeah, that's scary, but not in the way monsters are supposed to be
scary...
Luke. *sigh* Yes, I confess, all the bad guys (in the Masters gang)
this season bother me in some aspect.

Anyway, I plan on going through season two the next week. Hope I'm
left with the same sense of satisfactione as this time.

Hi Millan! And look here, it's a *very* late reply!

Yay you! And you should, because season one is fresh and exciting.

That it is.

Mmm, I thought she did okay. Quite the little naughty schoolgirl-vamp.
And she did a great job in 'Angel' playing Darla who enjoys playing
games with Angel and Buffy.

And on top of that The Master, the I-don't-know-how-many-years-old
vampire looks up to him like he's Satan's gift to mankind. In 'Angel'
the Master even lets himself be lead by the hand by that annoying brat.
Yay Spike for killing him off!

Luke was nice. So he was fooled pretty easily by Buffy. But before that
he was pretty threathening.

No doubt you will. Let us hear how it was and I'll respond to your post
about a month later ;o)

Bye, Patrick
