I don't care what the "accepted" transcript says, the line is, "The
curtains close on a kiss, God knows,". It rhymes better and it makes a
heck of a lot more sense. I have yet to hear someone make a persuasive
argument in favor of "kiss not known".

But the kiss is not known is it? I doubt any of the Scooby's see it, since
they are busy singing. Knows does sound better but I don't see how it makes
more sence. If it was just normal, non-rhymey stuff then I think that they
would both have an equal chance of being correct, with "not known" slightly
edging it.
Baggers
Um, details. But anyway, shouldn't that Bm9 be a Badd9 (or whatever you
call a B with a 9th, or a second, instead of a minor third...there's no
flat 7th in that chord, IMO. Chord shape: X24422)
Hmm...I was thinking, anyone agains me posting my own tabs (which are
being much improved by all this cross-checking) for scrutiny's sake?

Rather than making arguments, you can just listen to it, and hear
that it is quite clearly "God knows"...

Not at all, the more the merrier.

It's funny you ask, actually. If I can figure out how to get a track,
and find a duet partner, I'm thinking seriously about doing "I'll Never
Tell" as a karaoke song. It's the only thing, other than maybe Spike's
solo, that would play in Peoria, I think.

Considering I'm trying to put together a group to perform the whole
episode live at an upcoming convention, getting the lyrics right makes a
big difference to me.
Cool....what con?
I'd pay $10 to see that.
It *is* "God knows", BTW. *That* much, I can lipread.

Marcon, Columbus OH, Memorial Day weekend. Except that over the past few
days, I've been discussing the plans with my partners in crime, and it
seems that most just aren't ready to stand before a roomful of Buffy
fans and try to sing. So it looks like we'll try my other idea instead
(other idea being a sing-along, audience participation presentation, a
la Rocky Horror, complete with scripts and props).
Ah, Marcon. Yup, that's one I don't work. For some strange reason they limit
the dealer tables to 2. My setup requires atleast 5. Sorry to hear about the
Buffy no go anyway though.
