Yes, that same railroad as in East Palestine, Ohio.
While there was no spillage, this clearly shows that Norfolk Southern Railway is way over-regulated, and needs all its safety rules removed.
Only by removing all federal oversight and letting Norfolk Southern do whatever they deem best, can we guarantee that there will be no further derailments.

Federal rules say that any bearing that shows visible oil leakage must be repaired. Norfolk Southern supervisors told their inspectors that this means only if oil is actually dripping onto the track. Clearly, this is insufficient. Bearings should only be scheduled to be repaired within a month or so, if they visibly glow in the dark, or throw sparks at speed.

It is annoying that democracy takes constant tending to. Why can't
government simply do its job and leave me to my amusements? Mainly it
is a matter of how politics is one of the main jobs for functional

anymore either). Now, politics has degenerated to a naked struggle
for power. And, by the way, the olympics has become very big business
indeed.
I think what is going on now in israel is instructive for us who are
tired of constantly holding our thumbs in the holes in the dikes of
our democracy.
So, I think it is good that I, ned, love, each from our own viewpoint,
remind wilson from time to time that he is not fooling anybody. He
needs to know that, and he is smart enough to know it whereas some
flat earthers aren't. Even if he is very careful to not allow himself
to be convinced of anything.

It's just so difficult for me to understand how someone can believe absolute nonsense and be totally impervious to reason.
I believe that Wilson actually believes the crap he spouts; it's not an act. Just like the flat-earthers.
Just try it. Go on Fakebook, subscribe to a science and astronomy forum, and start reading the comments on the science posts. Sure, there are some obvious trolls and fakes, but there are plenty of serious, sincere posters who absolutely believe that the only purpose of NASA is this gigantic effort to keep up the myth of a round earth and to indoctrinate us "globetards". It's that sincerity that will blow you away.
I see that same sincerity in our right-wingers, who also value belief above facts.

The thing wilson has that they lack is a clear agenda around what he
wants and how to get it. The message is, it isn't going to work,
