I love Asters. Have seen them around here and getting ready to go and buy wildflower seed packet to sow now.

I watched Meacham one morning and enjoyed the exchange between him and Reverend Al.

I have found it difficult to concentrate long enough for extended tv watching. The situation with my Ukrainian family is dicey and anxiety-producing.

Getting ready to turn in my absentee ballot. I’m very worried about the next election and don’t feel that the Dems are prosecuting their case well enough. I’m very fearful of living in an autocracy but think most voters are turning to the Republicans to protect them from high prices and crime. Even if they really won’t. But people are frightened and anxious which is not usually a winner for the Dems, right?

We finished planting the hydrangea trees yesterday. Ran into a boulder the size of a small planet six inches below soil and had to dig another hole. This rock was so big that digging on all sides of it and using shovel as lever didn’t budge it. It was about the size of two basketballs and we would have needed oxen to budge it I think.

Anyway, pool is getting open ,

And am up to an hour of exertion so I guess I did not get as deconditioned as I feared
