I will answer only with yes or no, try to determine the rules of
the game we are playing. To start the game some questions
have been asked and answered. You can ask as many questions
you like in one go.

1. Can you play this game alone? yes
2. Do you need to earn points? no
3. Do you always answer truthfully? no
4. Is it possible to guess the game? yes
5. Do you need to play on a board? yes
6. Are you trying to keep us in the dark? no
7. Has the game something to do with an animal? yes
8. etc.

I notice that your example answer to "Are you trying to keep us in the
dark?" was "yes", but when Bixente asked exactly the same question your
answer was "no".

1. Was that a mistake?
2. Was the mistake in your original example?
3. Did you reply correctly to Bixente?
4. Don't you think you should apologize?

5. Are you trying to keep us in the dark?

The game foresees a positive reply *yes* when the question
ends with a vowel and with a *no* when the question ends with a consonant.
Punctuation does't count and for the numbers their written form is valid:
41= Forty-one (ends with a vowel)

I think I'm beginning to understand the bit about the animal.

1. Has the game something to do with an animal?
2. Can that animal fly?
3. Does it have four legs?
4. Does it have two legs?
5. Does it, perhaps, have no legs at all?
6. Could it be a dolphin?
7. In that case, could it be a snake?
8. Would it help to know the particular species of snake?
9. Is it a viper?
10. Or an adder?
11. Or an anaconda?
12. So, you answer "yes" to any question about anacondas?
13. Curses, I was doing so well up to that point, was I getting close?

To Jan:

1) when one answers a question after you have answered a post when it
comes up again does it change the opposite answer.

2) are numbers involved

3) do certain questions have certain patterns to answering

4) is it played in the dark

5) will you always choose when answering truthfully

6) can one achieve something in the end of the game in a positive way

7) do you put a different number on each questions if it doesn't suit
the answer

8) is there a pattern

9) is there a pattern

11) is there a pattern

12) is there a pattern

13) does ect have an answer.

14) does tying to keep you in the dark have more then one actual answer.

Must confess that I was taunted with this one back in '67 or '68, as I
walked home from high school, so I was on the lookout for the pattern.
However, I held back when I saw a couple of anomalies, like the M above
and the K discrepancy. The questioning can go on and on, since there's
only a superficial relationship to the responses.
