"Dr. Ann Pretlow."
I haven't read Clancy in ages, and am just now rereading all of his books. I'm
in the first 3rd or so of Without Remorse, and Dr. Pretlow's name was just
mentioned (Kelly is in the hospital after being shot.) And the name sounds
extremely familiar. Does she appear in any of the other novels, and if she
does, how so? Or did Sam/Sarah Rosen mention her earlier in the book while on
the island, and that's why she sounds familiar to me?
Or both?

Wasn't there a Pretlow in the Rainbow 6 novel? I believe she was one of
the women who got kidnapped and tested with that ebola variant.

You're absolutely right!
Ann Pretlow (possibly 'Anne Pretloe' if I remember right) and Mary Bannister
were two of the abduction victims from Rainbow Six. Obviously not the same Ann
Pretlow, who is the neurosurgeon in Without Remorse. But it's the NAME that was
driving me (and some friends) crazy, and not necessarily the character.. You
solved our dilema. THANKS!
