President Fowler played by James Cromwell--that is a very good choice.
Looks like him in my opinoin (my mind picture)
Dr. Rita Russell -- is that Liz Elliot??? played by Pragna Desai
Bill CAbot played by Morgan Freeman--who was cabot supposed to be? Sec
state or defense, right? Dies in the superbowl I think?
Cabot in the movie sounds, from 3rd-party sources, to be nothing like
the one in the book. He was the head intelligence guy (formal title
forgotten), but, IIRC, was said to be nothing more than a good-looking
suit, while Ryan was taking up the slack in the operational
department.

There was Marcus Cabot, the DCI at the time.

Depends on the mind. I figure that's why movies are so successful.
