On tonight's episode of Hollywood Squares, this question was asked:
Stephen King's stories have been made into movies and TV mini-series.
His story,
The Man in the Black Suit is being made into what? The star answered a
play. But the correct answer, according to this program, was an opera.
Anyone hear about this? It was news to me. Bev, have you heard anything?

Stephen King's short story "The Man in the Black Suit" is now in planning
stage to be made into a music theater piece by American Opera Projects. It
will be premiering sometime in 2001.

I don't have a date that this was first reported but I wonder if the story
winning the 1995 World Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction had anything to
do with the decision...
