For some reason, and I don't know why, I found Needful Things really
hard to read. For some reason it wasn't the page turner all the other
Castle Rock based novels were. Then there's the movie, which was HORRIBLE!
That was an even bigger disappointment. Oh, well...don't everyone jump on
MY ass now. Just callin' 'em like I see 'em...

Hi Gill. Welcome, have a seat on the porch, Nik will be around shortly to
have you your welcome basket.

Well, I loved Needful Things.... I would say its in my top
10 of Kings books... I dont think the movie was horrible,
they did what they could in Hollywood. They just dont understand that we
wanted more.
Hey Gill, while youre waiting for Nik, let me offer you a
Hershey's Cookies and Cream chocolate bar...They're
very sweet and make the blood taste sweeter. And when
you are finished I'll show you whats behind the gazebo.
<hoping Andy doesn't mind if I use the gazebo when he's not >.

I couldn't get in to Needful Things either, even though I LOVED the
other Castle Rock stories. It always surprises me when people rave about
it...but not as much as The Gunslinger series I hated them even more.
Thanks Andy, I'll make sure I clean up before I leave.
I have to agree. I also found Insomnia hard to read. Granted, it did
eventually pick up towards the end, but the book seemed to have no plot until
about 400 pages in. I'm all for character development, but I think Insomnia
was a bit excessive...
